I finally got the trem cover off. What a pain in the ASS! I do not understand the reasoning behind painting the shelf that the plate sits on black and leaving the rest of the cavity orange? It looks like they used some sort of sheilding paint and the cover was stuck to that. The black paint is very sloppy and some was removed when the plate came off. No damage to the outside paint though. I have owned many Charvels and this is a first.
