Sl-4 Floyd Rose

Hi,

I was wondering whether to replace the licensed floyd rose on my 2001 jackson sl-4 to an original FR as it noticably goes out of tune when divebombing etc. However somebody said that the sl-4 might have a schallar system in it.. which is supposedly just as good as an original.

could anybody clear this up for me ?

also, is there a way to identify the serial number on japanese-made jacksons? the jackson.com one only accepts US serials.
