Thanks...I'm slowly getting there....it's so hard to re-learn schtuff...I've been killing myself daily in my practice room with the metronome....which is why I've been pretty quiet....

I'm officially disabled now...I can't work..and I basically stay home all the time...if I don't do something constructive and positive, I'll end up destroying myself eventually....this is my way of dealing with everything I have going on.

I'm going to get good again...I finally have the time to dedicate to guitar with few interruptions during the day....I go in my room around 10 and come out after 6 when Krista comes home.

I've arranged to start taking lessons in November with a local guy 2 times a week as I have the time to practice and learn what is taught....I'm still using Speed Mechanics for Lead Guitar, Intellishred, and also a few of the publications done by Musicians Institute on technique and soloing.

I almost have the Bark at the Moon solo up to speed (OK, not the sextuplets at the end at 144BPMs...that's just not human lol!!).

I just want to get my technique up to a high level and continue to improve my string-crossing and getting my lines to sound fluid if that makes sense....when I'm ready I'll post some clips...I've been playing along with Europe's The Final Countdown quite a bit...it's coming along nicely....

This is my positive in a negative situation....this is my therapy...this is my way of dealing with PTSD without resorting to alcohol and drugs to cope with the mood swings....so all in all I'm pretty stoked about doing this.

My ultimate goal is to go back to school and get my performance degree...I've always wanted to...now is my time if I can find a local school that offers it...but regardless, between working on my own and with the teachers help (who is very good also) I'll be able to get myself where I want to be.
