Sounds awesome...I've been hammering out Frank's ideas on economy picking lines...it feels strange at first, but after a short while it feels natural...and I'm finding that I am using it without thinking about it...but I'm also putting in an equal ammount of time in the traditional alternate picking...I think you have to be proficient at both..
Vinnie Moore has some cool ideas on triadic arpeggios and sequencing them into lines...which I'm getting a better grasp on...connecting them is getting a little easier from one "shape" to another...I've just been doing the Maj, Min, Diminished, and Maj/Min 7th shapes up and down the neck diatonically....
I'm having a blast...I'm starting to see results from all the hours I've put in...it's definitely paying off....
