My fretting hand is slow and retarded.. along with my slow ass brain. I warm up the same way for the past 6-8 months, practice scales, stars wars theme, william tell, intell-shred the same page, and The Sentinel solo... 1st I can play everything but not fast, 2nd if I don't have it in front of me I don't remember a damn thing. I play Mississippi Queen 3 times through before I end my practice and if I would try play that from memory I would be lost. You would think playing it so many times over and over I could memorize it.
