It's all about the feel. Fat neck; slim neck; rosewood; ebony; maple or balsawood. Maple body; ash; mahogany or plywood. It has never mattered to me. When it plays and feels good that's all that matters. I have a '90's Fender USA Plus that has been sitting in the case. I'll sell that. Why? Because I have two guitars loaded with Lace Sensors that I don't have to worry about whether I dinged my precious guitar.
