I snagged up a BC Rich NJ Jr V deluxe from Nick @ Piney Hills
Reverse headstock flying v- Neck thru guitar, real floyd, EMG 81/85 setup. 24 jumbo frets. Ebony fretboard Abalone 12th fret inlay, Mahogany neck and body neck thru construction. Bound body, neck and headstock.. bound with abalone on top of ivoroid.
Quality is on par with my USA Jacksons. The only issue with this guitar, is the same isue I have had on ALL of my Jacksons.. even $3500 CS models... since its neck thru the paint is never cut exactly 100% straight right where it joins the fretboard to the top of the body on the top and bottom of the fretboard. Barely noticeable.
a few hundred less Less than any high end import Jackson, and thru Nick@ Piney Hills, comes with a BC Rich logo'ed coffin case, and has options you would only get out of a custom shop model.
I think I may have found the greatest imports guitars. I'm considering having BC Rich make my custom shop v.. but after I but an amp... I'm buying a Rich Bich or mocking bird with the classic look.
I AM SO HAPPY.
my new BC Rich is on par with USA Jacksons. WIth a better price and more features.
