Well after about 7 years my old LP studio came up for sale so I grabbed it back.
The serial number is 81123561 which dates it as an 83 BUT supposedly the studios were introduced in 84.so this one was made March 83 so I assume a very early one.It has turned a very mellow yellow over time.
57 pickups and all original still, pot date codes are 83.
Totally rippin guitar huge fat tone and plays like a dream.
So glad to have this one back.Got the original case and a 50's style Gator LP case too.
Never sell this one again!
