Rising Sun Soloist

I have decided that I want a Soloist sooner rather than later.

Would finding a Rising Sun Soloist be a very hard thing to do? Aside from vintage custom one-offs, was this or something very similar ever offered as a production finish?

Shall I give up my search now and focus on another option? I don't want to spend huge money...
