see? things have a way of going around. i had owned alvin's former red axe for a while. it recently sold on the forum.
quakana, i do my own string changes/intonation. that's as far as i go. a gentleman named mike mascagna(guitar works) does the rest. if i am not mistaken, he does gibson and fender repairs and is EXCELLENT in what he does.
the body had a shim which gave it a bit of neck angle(which i do NOT like) mike is going to take care of that for me. should be nice when it's done!
yep, those are big frets. a guy's guitar today was getting 6000's! i think they're .060 tall! big fuggers! there is also some brownish stuff on the side of the frets making them look a little bigger. i like my maple boards un-finished or damn close to it
on top of it, it has a case to boot!
