I haven't followed this "Jena 6" shit that closely, except for the past couple of days, so I may be missing something... And I hope I am!

A few white kids place a noose or 2 in a tree. 6 black kids beat a white kid, who may or may not have had anything to do with it, damn near to death.

The black kids are arrested and now facing trial or are on trial now. Charges have been reduced and people are wanting all charges dropped.

Now there's a reported 50,000 people protesting this in Jena, La. wanting these 6 kids released.

Right so far? I hope not! I hope I'm missing something because something is terribly FUCKED if this is the way things have happened.

All of a sudden a noose is racist... Here in Memphis a few weeks ago stage hands at a community theater lost their jobs because some black employees complained that white employees made nooses from from curtain ropes... The pictures looked more like the ropes were rolled up to me.

Is making a noose illegal? Nope... Not yet anyway. I'm sure it will become some sort of fucking hate crime bullshit in the near future!

From what I understand though it was a racial statement for these nooses being hung from the tree, but still not illegal. Stupid yes, illegal no. So what is the message being sent here?

A black person takes offense to something or considers something to be racist, regardless if it is or not, they can gang up on someone and beat them silly or even kill them and they can find justification in their actions because THEY believe something to be racist.

Now we have that piece of shit Al Sharpton spewing his filth not to mention well known black hate groups in the protest screaming about another civil rights movement!

I'll bet damn near anything that all 6 of these little assholes walks free without so much as slap on the wrist for it.
