This is about the WaMu/Chase conversion. I got my new Chase card. My WaMu expired on 5/31, so I activated the new Chase card. So far so good. Then I tried to add it to my Paypal account. DENIED. Contact your local bank. So, I did. Here's what happened. The counterperson said the new card was cancelled because it wasn't activated within 30 days. I had to order a new one. That would take two weeks. Reactivate this one I said. We can't do that she said . That didn't sit well with me and I started to get pissed off. I got to sit down with a Rep. I asked him why I would activate a new card when the old one was still in effect. Anyway, he got on the phone. He was on hold for about 10 min. He finally got through and that "Cancelled" card was reactivated. I did Bitch and Moan and I got action to my satisfaction. I hate banks. My point? Find someone that can actually get things done and don't stop until you do.
