The company I worked for 8 years ago hired me back in July.
I had worked for them from 1993 to 2001, so I pretty much knew what I was getting into when I came back.
OK, that's the history lesson, moving on...
Things were great for the first 6 months or so, then they decided to let this other dude go, and give his responsibilities to me.
Isn't that cool?
Naturally, they doubled my salary, right? LOL
Now, I'm still having fun at work (something I always strive for), but the stress level has gone up.
I'm drinking every morning, and started smoking again (totally kidding on both counts, but I could see me doing that 20 years ago).
What's amazing is what managers feel they can get away with in this economy.
OK, that's my bitch for the day.
