This happened last week, but I'm still pissed about it.
I go to Best Buy for a few things. King Diamonds new CD and a USB tot PS2 mouse adapter for my moms computer.
She bought a new mouse and it is a USB. But so is her wireless network adapter and printer so I wanted to free up the port so it could all be used.
I go to this shithole, find my CD and proceed to look for the adapter... No luck. All I could find was the type that you plug a PS2 mouse and keyboard into to share one USB port. Not what I wanted or needed.
I had my mother with me, just took her out to eat, and she's the type that insists on asking these people for help.
Anyway, this dunce walks over and picks up the same adapter I already found and told me "this is what you need". I said no, I need the type that connects to a USB mouse and plugs into the PS2 port.
She looked at me like I was retarded and said, "you want a USB to PS2, right?" In a nutshell, I could not make her understand what I was looking for so I just walked off.
I get to the counter and this... shall we say, representative of the pink team, gave me a prissy little attitude. He rang me up as he was talking to his buddy at the next register behind him.
When the receipt printed he handed it to me and said, "There ya go chief."
Chief? Who the fuck is this twit talking to? Is it common for cashiers to refer to the customers as "chief"? So I walked off twice as pissed and as I got to the the manager was thanking people for shopping there and I guess I had meaner look than normal on my face because he asked me if everything was ok and if he could help me with anything...
I said, you can help by telling the ass ranger at register 3 not to refer to customers as "chief"!
That marked the last time I'll ever go to that over priced piece of shit store again.
While I was there I just decided to look for a USB extension. That's the main problem really, her mouse just isn't long enough... a 6ft extension $40!!!
Got home and bought one from Newegg for $7 shipped!
