I just got an email from a keyboardist friend of mine and he said that Billy Powell just died from a heart attack. In case you don't know, Billy was one of the founding members and keyboardist for Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Apparently, he had been having heart problems for quite sometime. He was scheduled for an appointment to see his cardiologist and when he didn't show for the appointment, he was found dead. As of now, I don't know anymore details or facts.
