I just read about this at Sludge. He missed an appointment with his cardiologist on Monday, but apparently called 911 from his home and was dead by the time paramedics got there. They tried to revive him with CPR but could not.


He joined the band as keyboardist in 1972 but was actually a roadie for them for a couple of years before that.

Sad news. RIP Billy...
