TONE Comes from the most Unexpected Places...

Has an appendage called a middle single coil pickup.
Hated it, thought about what I could replace it with, like
a stacked HB...
So I decided to even it out by lowering the adjacent humbuckers
and raising it up to even it out tone/volume wise.
Now I find myself playing the mid position on this guitar...BANG.
Sounds like a P90?
Really harmonic sounding.
Any other "stupid tricks" you have found?
