I just got a pair of 81-X's and put them in my SL2H. They sound great!
The install was was easier and much quicker than having to solder everything, although there was still a few solder points, like the toggle switch and I had to splice 2 of the leads together to make it longer.
That's really my only complaint. They seem to want to make the install quick and easy with as little soldering as possible, but for some reason made the wire that connect from the volume pot to the output jack ridiculously short. Easy enough of a fix, but still silly for that wire to be so short and all the others excessively long.
