Kids and Grandkids.....

I'm a fairly young guy,46 years old(although I'll stay 18 & immature forever!),and i recently have undergone a cordite artery surgery.This is my 4th heart related incident in the last 6 years.I have given up the booze,weed,and tobacky,not for me,for the kids...
I'll admit,until recently,I thought my purpose on earth was to make music,...good,bad,horrid, any noise but country..
look how wrong you can be....I guess the big guy put me here for something else. A pay it forward you might say, i now know my purpose is to take care of the little ones,and instill a love of music in them.
Die'n has never scared me,and i always figured I'd go quick. I made sure to have life insurance,enough to take care of them,... but I've recently realized,money won't take care of them,that's my job!
My youngest grandchild is 20 months old,already a better drummer than my last 2.....His older brother,6, can play mama,from ozzy on guitar. I give guitar lesson to my youngest sister every Sunday. I get as much enjoyment(or more!) out of them as i ever did playing in front of drunks in the bars! I doubt I'll ever quit being a live musician,but if i do,i know i'll never quit teaching and passing the enjoyment along.
No point to this, but maybe someone will find a tiny bit of knowledge in it,..took me to long to figure it out.
