Got to meet Mr Lynch yesterday ....

Got to spend some time with George Lynch at a clinic in Phoenix yesterday. Not only is the guy a remarkable player, he's a genuinely nice, humble person as well. He took a smoke break after playing and answering questions and I was lucky enough to be invited to join him and a couple people from the store so I got to BS with him in a more relaxed setting for 15 minutes or so. The man is as humble as they come - I really don't think he believes he is as good as he is. He stayed at the store for nearly an hour longer than he was supposed to just to make sure that everyone got things signed and a little one on one time with him. Watching him encourage the young students was great. I have been a fan of Lynch - the player for many, many years. Now, I'm an even bigger fan of George - the person. If anyone has the opportunity to catch him at one of his clinics - do yourself a favor and go. It's well worth the time.
