Finally got my amp back...

And I'm stoked! Marshall JCM800 and a 1960A cab. Loud would be an understatement!

I'm kind of pissed, but can get over it with the repair. Wasn't anything major wrong with it. Just preamp tubes, power switch and a volume knob. $150 and it's running fine... So far.

Kind of pissed at the fact when they called me today I almost asked what kind of tubes they put in it, but let it go. I had a strong feeling they'd put Ruby's in there when I had Groove Tube 12AX7R's.

Sure enough, I pick it up and the receipt said Ruby tube on it. Not a huge deal, but I would have expected them to put what was already in there to match it, but Noooo!

When I went to buy the cab I bought a groove tube only to get home and find they replaced 2 instead of one like they said. So I get to go tomorrow and buy another one.

Like I said though, not a huge problem. It could have been worse and more painful on the bank account.
