I've kept my first Jackson in great shape. The case is in perfect shape as well. The guitar has been in the case for a good while now and before I stored it I cleaned and conditioned it, put new strings on it then locked the case up and put it away.
Earlier tonight I pulled it out and opened it to find it was literally covered in dust! I could see it collecting dust just sitting out, but in the case!?
Not too surprising though, it was still in perfect tune!
