My douche bag drummer, and I hope he reads this! , is a power drummer. The fuck goes through sticks like beer and bitches that he can't hear me.
With as hard as he plays I can see why he can't hear me or the PA. I've been on his case for a long time to control his playing more and he'd be able to hear shit. He's constantly telling me to turn it up. That can't be the only solution to this. He's got a 15" woofer and horn pointed right at him.
So the reason I bring this up is I'm curious how the drummers you guys play with handle the monitoring situation so they can hear everything else?
