We have whats called "Memphis In May". On the first through third is the Beale St. Music Fest. 3 days of bands. Saturday is always the best. Last year being Korn as the headliner... This year was Alice In Chains.
To get to the main stage is a LOOOONG fucking walk through tons of people, venders and, oh yes, mud! It manages to storm every year. This year wasn't different, except it flooded pretty damned bad with tornado warnings all day.
By the time came to head to the show however, it seemed to clear out pretty well. All was going good and we head to the main stage. We get there just in time to watch the crew setup the stage for AIC... Then it happened... They started evacuating the entire park because a funnel cloud was spotted and heading our way.
The one band worth seeing all weekend was canceled just minutes before they went on!
Now that's how you define SUCKS!
