Pot them?
Dave Stephens checks them out thoroughly and solders the cover in place.
Taking the cover off voids the warranty.
I'm cheap...the only "boutique" pups I have bought are Lindy Fralin, and
that was for a friends '62 Jazzmaster.
Good, but not as good as the Stephens Design.
If it weren't for the trade there is no way I would spend $300 plus for a pickup.
But now I'm not so sure.
Def worth it.
I'll probably do another swap and get the J90C back in the Jackson.
And use the Highwind in the neck of my PS4???
