For Sale: Rare 1989 Jackson Archtop Soloist

I never thought Id have to, but we got some bad news today and Ive gotta make some tough choices now... first to go is one of my prized posessions, my 1989 Jackson Archtop Soloist. S/N JA0113 Made in Ontario, CA USA. Solid mahagony body and neck, 3/4" flamed maple top, body neck and head binding, MOP logo, no Made in USA on headstock, MOP dot inlays, Brazilian Rosewood board. Weighs a hefty 9lbs 5.5oz. Jackson Pups (forget which ones, its been so long but Ill find out if you really need me to), JE1000 preamp, super 5 way switch (not the regular 3+2grounds). Currently setup with DiAddario 9-42's.

Few small dings as with any 20 year old guitar... virtually NO bucklerash, very little if any fretwear, main blem is a chip out of the back tip of the headstock as pictured, not visible from the front. I dont know how people manage to always do this as I never have, but the previous owner did and apparently didnt save the piece. Ugh.

Overall, an original, beautiful rare axe... sounds mean, feels great and plays awesome. If it was a floyd, I probably wouldnt be able to sell it... Im a floyd guy, but in reality it doesent matter what I am now, Ive gotta get some money together asap. $1500 with a mint original Charvel Chainsaw Case.
