Here's some pics of my Chap Elite with factory Sustainiac.
Body: Honduran Mahogany
Neck: 3pc Maple w/ ebony board and pearl boomerrang inlays
finish: Ice Pearl White (the only Chap Elite w/Sustainiac done in this color)
Clear coat is nitro and there's finish checking (really cool!)
All electronics are original and working. Bridge is a PATB and the neck and middle pups are stacked singles (also Duncans).
Most the Chap sustainor guitars were with the lone Sustainiac occupying the neck slot and the old models did NOT function as an active pup, so you lost the neck position.. THIS one has a neck pup also (like the Neal Schon setup) so this one looks like its H-S-H, but its actually the sustainor driver AND a neck pup mounted in the same route. Controls are a 5 way and 2 toggles..one turns the unit off and on and the other, is a three way that selects, fundamental sustain, harmonic sustain or the middle is a blend of the two.
Bridge is a HAMER branded OEM Schaller floyd bridge.
Hard case is not the original Hamer branded hard shell.. that dies a long time ago..lol.
Included is a NOS Sustainiac driver, circuit board and toggles.. I got this and 2 other sets a couple of years ago from the Customer Service Dept. at Hamer when they were cleaning out their warehouse.
$950 shipped and insured inside the CONUS.
