This neck is Ebony, with Jumbo frets and its got a chunky Gibson style neck, which is really cut like a 60's Les paul.
Its got a 1/2" thick carved Maple top, and the body is solid Mahogany. Weighs in at 8.5 pounds, same range as a Les Paul. Guitar is equipped with Grover tuners,and also a Tone Pros locking Bridge . Hardware is in perfect condition and also works 100% . The guitar has no tuning issues.
This guitar also has a $200.00 set of Zakk Wylde EMG 81/85 Pickups, which were professionally installed. Installation cost another 50 bucks.
Can't say enough great things about this axe! Plays like butter. The high notes ring out and really sing .The Bottom end is very beefy, and the midrange really cuts- think Metallica. Under High Gain it retains clarity and note definition.
As far as looks, this is a beauty .Black with cream body and neck binding very nicely executed- I can't find a flaw. Quality Control at BC Rich must be a high priority. The Cloud inlays are genuine MOP and very nicely done. Factory set up is excellent; frets are all in perfect condition and nicely beveled and edges are smooth and it plays FAST! The Guitar comes with a Coffin Case in excellent condition that sells new for 150.00. Guitar sells new for 749.00 at Musicians Friend.
I am asking 650.00 OBO or it goes to EBAY thiscoming weekend. I would consider a Trade for Fender amp.
