I working on that string through guitar and looking to put a bone nut on it instead of the locking nut. I know Allparts sell a non locking nut replacement but I can't stomach 25.00 for it plus shipping. Plus I have about 6 pieces of nut bone blanks.. All my strats and tele's get bone nuts.. of course I make them myself.
I haven't shaped it as of yet and it's going to be close for the D, G strings.. but I might just get a bigger piece of bone..
What do you think?
