I feel stupid for even asking this, but somethings up with my new axe.
I have always had bolt on necks. This is my first neck-thru so I'm looking for a little info from you dudes that do your own setups with neck-thrus...
It came setup with 9's, I prefer 10's. The other day I changed strings, to 10's, and of course the usual bridge adjustments were made, it tuned right up, BUT the action is now very high. Even after lowering the bridge the action is still very high.
I'm thinking it's going to be a neck adjustment, but I want to make sure before fucking around with with. I'd rather go back to 9's on this guitar than monkey around too much with it. It was perfect as far action goes, so going back to 9's will only be a minor adjustment for me if need be.
