Pickup wiring experts why cut off the green wire?
I just pulled a pair of duncan designed pickups out of a squier satin I just bought. the green wire is cut off, done at the factory. I usually don't think these are bad pickups but these were weak.
the red and white are together on the 3way switch and the black and ground are together on the back of the pot at grounds.
I bought a pair of cheap dragonfire pickups to drop in there, and I will probably rewire the whole thing for just 2 volume and leave the 3rd not connected.
