Need pickup recommendations

I just got an Austin Les Paul copy. Not bad at all really, but the pickups sound like ass. It was cheap, so I expected this.
The guitar is an all Mahogany body with a Maple neck, and weighs about the same as an LP. It is a set neck.
So from a construction perspective, I would rank it right there with an Epi.
Anyway... I'm looking for ideas of what to put in this thing.
No EMG's either... I already have enough EMG equipped guitars.

I'm thinking SD Custom Custom or DiMarzio Super 3 for the bridge.
But I have no clue what to put in the neck. I'm looking for something that has a great clean tone to it. On the warm side, but not muddy.

Any advice would be great.
