Default fett's Amp Project

Magna Varsity 108.
Not a shredder amp by any means, but it's a Fender Champ
clone. Info is real hard to get on this, but it was made around
1947 to mid 50's. Original Fender Champ amps catch insane
amounts of money, largely becauase of the reputation of their
warm tone.
This amp was DOA when fett sent it. I quickly determined that
the large capacitor had leaked its contents all over, and took
out the output tranny in the process. The Tone/Power switch
had fallen apart. There were a couple of wires unattached in
various places.
It' truly point to point wired, not even a turret board, or eyelet
board. Even the Champs, and the GA5's had boards.
