Building a desk shelf, with USB strip
I've got a heavy duty computer desk that's L-shaped. I wanna build an L shaped shelf with the ability to rackmount gear underneath at each end, with the corner part as such that my monitor will sit on top and my mixer in front. I also wanna put some kind of USB strip on top or nearby, so I can light up my rack. Is there such a thing as USB distribution units similar to power extension boxes?
