Yep, I have one.Very Clear pickup that works great in the middle. Its articulate for note runs and wont get too dark or bright. Its got some fitment issues for some guiatars , being a little tall and also that thick wire tat runs along the entire bottm from low E to High.
I was considering putting it into the middle on my Warmoth H_S_S , but opted out for a hot rails neck and Chopper middle. yep, the hot rails is on the dark side.
I managed to get the pATB-STK1n into the Strat hole middle of my Warmoth by turning it upside down and mashing it in there, and it was loud enuf for the PATB3 bridge, which is a moderate output bucker, and wouldve also worked in the neck but i didnt want to try and jimmie it in.
The X2N is a high output 'bucker ain't it? I think your gonna have some volume dropoff.
