The purpose of this amp was to use it solely as a poweramp and speaker. I never liked the preamp when I first demo'd it. The problem is I didn't save the settings on the Boss GT-10 jacked into the amp's FX return either. I hope I have better luck with the Marshall JMD combo I have planned. No FX when I demo'd it in the shop 2 months ago. I wish I had saved the settings on everything, cuz I'd own 2 amps and 3 guitars now instead of 4 guitars and 1 amp I currently don't get on with.
