My sickness so far:
First was a 5E3 built into a POS Sunn Alpha Whatever.
I did the Copper Spitfire out a Gulbransen organ chassis.
I am working right now on a Grommes mono hi fi into a Tweed Deluxe 5C3.
I stripped out a Baldwin organ last week inside the van.
(My back had gone screwy, so I started taking parts off to make it lighter-3 hours later it was done. No heavy lifting required
).
The guy at the thrift store got it into the van and wished me luck.
I have an AO-14 Hammond organ chassis just waiting for a plan. (SLO?)
Also a Califone record player that is blessed with (2) 6L6's.
And about 5 antique radios from the 40's and 50's that
I got for free. Including plenty o' spare tubes. (NOS!)
One fired up, looks cool, so it will be restored cosmetically.
As long as you like AM only.
At least the Cygnus SEL's were built out of new parts.
I'm not toally insane...yet.
