Is now fully operational.
It was fett's Grommes hi fi monoblock.
I took pictures, but the camera/ memory card crashed!
I have been playing it all day long.
The hi/lo inputs have a switch-so I dragged the whole little rig out to the back deck and ran it from a little radio while splitting wood. Then plugged in a guitar and played it for about 4 hours. Fugg, it's just a sweet sound.
It is now hooked up to "white noise" (actually radio) for more real break-in.
It's a debate whether this one has better tone-the Spitfire, or the 5E3 Tweed Deluxe, or the dialed in clean of the SEL-2.
As of now-this one is winning.
It might be due to the impedance of the OT.
Just nice, chimey-great.
Should be properly broke in for shipping next Monday, fett.
Thank you for letting me build it-it has been a pain in the butt, and ultimately-a joy!
