Dumble/Dumble Clones

[Cygnus X1]

Anyone have any experience with these?
I'm looking at building one (or two)...
But I can't seem to locate what the dirt/distortion sounds like on them.
I already know they have an awesome clean sound. The design is a mixture of Fender Tweed Deluxe and Marshall old plexi.
