I'm on the fence about a 4x12 cab. I need one and I'm thinking of buying a Marshall 1960A or refurbishing an older peavey cab.
The Marshall of course is expensive, but worth the cash. On the other hand I can probably save a few dollars and put the same Clestians Marshall uses in there and do a little customizing on the cab.
With the speakers costing over $450 total, the cab covering, new grill and other things I may end up spending more than the new Marshall costs, plus recovering the cab is a pain in the ass.
Still, I'm on the fence with it.
