I don't fall for that kind of "mojo", but it is what it is.
OTOH...if Leo, or Jim Marshall, or the talents behind the original Voxes, true Ampegs, etc...didn't do it so right, then where do we start?
They are legends for a very good reason.
Don't make the same mistake with amps as you do with guitars.
Stay out of the stratosphere cork sniffers, but I do believe 2500 for a '65 Deluxe Reverb is a reasonable price, given the tone it has.
Same for the others I mentioned. 2-5K is worth it considering what they offer.
