A friend brought a Jackson Warrior over today because of a funky volume pot. The problem is it's a constant on. It will not turn down.

It's been many years since I've dealt with any of this beyond EMG's. Someone modified this axe to take a SD 59 in the bridge. I can't remember the single that's in the neck right off.

The question is, what would cause a pot to not turn down? I checked the wiring and while the solder joints look cold it does appear to be wired right. Bad pot? I have no idea what value pots are that's in it, they're not marked at all.
