This was a tele made by a local luthier many years ago and I found it in a local pawn shop 8-9 years ago.The neck had had so much player wear several re-frets it was unuseable.
It had been standing in the closet so long I forgot about it until a few weeks ago and put a generic strat neck on it just to play it.
Well a customer wanted to know if he could pay me with a new Mighty mite birdseye tele neck.So I said sure why not.
Put on some aged Klusen vintage tuners swapped out the tele neck pick up and put in a 60's strat pick up.
Plays and sounds pretty good.So another one for the playing rotation.
