I scored a blue u.s.a. jackson dinky body around Christmas time. Before that, I secured my favorite neck, a maple/maple 22 fret pointy u.s.a. jackson.
Wasn't too sure if the body would accept a 22 or 24 fretter, so I took it to my tech's today. Turns out it will accept a 22 fretter.
The guitar just had the body, no pups. We'll have a set of duncans put in. JB in the bridge and a custom for the neck. Also the studs(JT6) are being replaced by OFR chrome studs. Also a shelf floyd nut will go on, fresh wiring and a fret level/grind and polish to finish it off nicely.
I even secured a charvel form fitted dinky case for it today! It might be re-sold. We'll see how I feel(waiting on my tax return $) when it's done.
